Maude was the daughter of" Nancy's daughter" Lillian Smith and John W Young, who was the brother of Benjamin "Frank" Young of Victor Township. Maude later married Curtis Stiverson. Mrs. Boyd died at the home of her son Samuel "Newt" Boyd in Victor Township. She was aged 79 years. The funeral was held at the Victor Church of the Brethren, conducted by Elder A.C. Daggett. Interment in the Cedar Bluff cemetery. Condensed from notice of death published in the Osborne County Farmer.
