She died March 22, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. after a brief illness. Services were held at 2 p.m., March 25, at the Knott Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Danko in charge. Pallbearers were S. Sgt. Car E. Bailey; Lee Swetland, a son-in-law of Mrs. Pearson, and her grandsons, John Gitter and James John and Leo Albin. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, David City. Nancy J. Robbins, daughter of Wesley and Deliverance Robbins was born October 12, 1875, at Le Claire, Ia., later moving to York County. On Feb. 28, 1892, she was married to John F. Albin at St. Stephen's Catholic Church at Exeter. Five daughter, Elsie, Agnes, Marie, Constance and Mildred and two sons, Francis and James were born to them. They lived in David City, where Mr. Albin was editor of the People's Banner from 1898 to 1908 and in Brainard, where he was editor of the Brainard Clipper from 1914 to 1917. On August 5, 1917, Mr. Albin died. Mrs. Albin was married to James Pearson at Moorefield Sept. 6, 1919. One daughter, Margaret Ann, was born to them. Mr. Pearson died in 1948. Mrs. Pearson attended St. Ann's Hospital School of Nursing at St. Louis, Mo., where she was graduated in 1928. She was employed at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lincoln, from 1939 to 1953. Since that time she has resided in the Little Sisters of the Poor Home for the Aged in Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Royal Neighbors, David City Court. She, being the last member of the family, was preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters. Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Elsie Bellas, Vista, Calif.; Sister Mary Leon, Sisters of Loretto, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Paul (Marie) Moyers, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Joseph (Constance) Reuter, Houston, Tex.; Mrs. Larry (Mildred) Gitter, Milwaukee, Wisc.; Mrs. Lee (Margaret Ann) Swetland, Lincoln and one son Francis E. Albin of Brainard. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Relatives attending the services from St. Louis, Mo., Milwaukee, Wisc., Houston, Tex., Exeter, Norfolk, Omaha, Valparaiso, Ceresco and Brainard. Attending the services in Kansas City were four of Mrs. Pearson's children, Sister Mary Leon, Mrs. Joseph Reuter, Mrs. Lee Swetland and Francis Albin.
