Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Boone. Read More	Nancy Jo Dahl, age 73, of Boone, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Eastern Star Home in Boone. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Boone. Mrs Dahl was born Nancy Jo Lonergan on July 25, 1946 in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Charlotte (nee Downs) Lonergan. She grew up in Boone and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1964. Nancy was united in marriage to Kyle Dahl on July 2, 1966 at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone. She attended DMACC and received her nursing degree. Nancy served others at the Boone County Hospital, Eastern Star Home, McFarland Clinic and other healthcare facilities over her 41-year career as a Registered Nurse. Nancy was a very positive person and found good in anyone and anything. She was always taking care of other people. She enjoyed trips to the library, reading, and shopping. Nancy was a life-long member of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone. Nancy is survived by her children, Allen (Lori) Dahl of Earlham and Julie (Chris) Brice of Story City; grandchildren: Amber (Wesley) Roberts of Boone, Michael Dahl of Boone, Abigail Lesnick of Earlham, Alyssa (Houston) Butler of Ankeny, Shannon Brice of Ames, and Caitlyn Brice of Story City; three great-grandchildren: Callie Roberts, Hannah Roberts, and Haylie Roberts; a sister, Sue (Bill) Schuttler; and five brothers: David (Kathy) Lonergan, Tim (Vicky) Lonergan, Dennis (Darlene) Lonergan, Mike (Kim) Lonergan, and Tom Lonergan.
