She was born in Lima, July 29, 1935, the daughter of the late Clifford & Letha (DeLauder) Boyer. In 1955, she married William Howard Dardio, and he preceded her in death in 1978. Survivors include, 5 children, Mark Dardio, Portland, OR, Terri (Mike) Ritchie, Wapakoneta, Pam Dardio, Wapakoneta, Julie Cockerell, Wapakoneta, Lori (John) Swansinger, Cleveland; 9 grandchildren, Emily Ritchie, Noah Ritchie, Bobby Kilgour, Melissa Papich, Joshua Cockerell, Jared Cockerell, Jacob Cockerell, Andrew Johnson, Adam Johnson; 3 great grandchildren, Mallory Stevick, Macie Mort, Mila Mort; siblings, Mary (Robert) Lopshire, Lima, Mike (Mary Ann) Boyer, Columbus. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, Bill Dardio, Matt Dardio, & infant Thomas Dardio, and 2 brothers, Jim & Ernie Boyer. Nancy worked as a registered nurse at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, and the Wapakoneta Manor. She was also owner and operator of the Dardio Milk Hauling, Inc. She was a 1953 graduate of St. Joseph High School, and a 1959 graduate of the St. Rita's School of Nursing. Nancy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities, and caring for her Dachshund, Maggie. Private family services will be held at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Sean Wilson officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Putnam Co. Hospice (pchh.net) or the Auglaize Co. Humane Society (achs-pets.com). Condolences may be expressed at www.eleyfuneralhomeandcrematory.com.
