Description	:	Nancy Nye Heine On Aug. 30, Nancy Nye Heine left us to join the Lord. She was greeted by her two sisters, Nona Cooper, Margery Gordon; and her parents, Paul and Leila Nye. Nancy was born on Aug. 24, 1928. She attended school in Billings, graduating from Billings Senior. Nancy was a MSU Bobcat where she was Sigma Chi (ΣΧ) Sweetheart and her senior year president of Alpha Omicron Pi (ΑΟΠ). In 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, John Oscar Heine. She leaves behind her husband, John; her two sons, Tim and David; along with their families. Nancy has been a faithful wife, devoted mother, admiring grandmother and great-grandmother and a supportive business partner that was actively involved in Nye’s Dairy, East Frostop, and Billings Sweeping/Asphalt businesses. She appreciated the beauty that wrapped her yard in gardens and an inviting swimming pool, dancing, bowling, bridge and golf. When John got a hole-in-one, shortly afterward she got one of her own! They traveled many places. John and Nancy enjoyed golfing trips to courses all over the U.S., fishing trips to remote parts of Montana and a European excursion. She has been a member of the Chapter of PEO and the First Congregational Church. She loved big gatherings of friends and family around the table, playing cards, watching a crackling fire after a day of swimming, fireworks and Christmas. Cremation has taken place, Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
