She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from the Spartanburg County Health Department and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Born in Spartanburg, S.C. she was the wife of Edwin B. Wooden and daughter of the late Henry Brown White and Hazel Deaton White. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from the Spartanburg County Health Department and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved cooking, sewing, crocheting, music, playing piano and organ and especially loved her family. Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Heather Lynne Morrow and husband, Charles M., of Woodruff, S.C., Jennifer Dawn Williams and husband, Kurt, of Boiling Springs, S.C. and Heidi Melissa Moss and husband, Joseph E., of Cowpens, S.C.; a brother, Kenneth Dean White and wife, Paulina, of Cowpens, S.C.; a sister, Sarah Jean Larsen and husband, Joseph, of Spartanburg; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Susan White. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a,m, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Dale Kitchen officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Gentiva Hospice, 430 Roper Mountain Road, Greenville, S.C. 29615.
