NANCY RIGGS Nancy Margaret McMahan was born in Missouri October 1, 1859 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Victor Mills in Cincinnati, Ohio, June 10, 1928, at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 9 days. She was united in marriage to I.S. Riggs in 1882, who passed away in 1903. A son, Ben H. Riggs, also preceded her in death. NANCY RIGGS Nancy Margaret McMahan was born in Missouri October 1, 1859 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Victor Mills in Cincinnati, Ohio, June 10, 1928, at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 9 days. She was united in marriage to I.S. Riggs in 1882, who passed away in 1903. A son, Ben H. Riggs, also preceded her in death. About nineteen years ago, she and her family moved to Des Moines, where they resided until just a few years ago. Since that time she has spent most of her time with her children. Seven children are left to mourn her death: Mrs. Chas. Kussart of Eddyville, W.A. Riggs of Buffalo, N.Y., C.A. Riggs of Bellingham, Wash., Mrs. L.E. Cawley of Ottumwa, Mrs. Worth Percival of Des Moines, Mrs. Victor Mills of Cincinnati, Ohio, Issac R. Riggs of Youngstown, Ohio, a number of grandchildren and other relatives. The remains were brought to Eddyville and funeral services were held from the Congregational church on Monday afternoon. Rev. Will Yard, pastor of the First Baptist church at Marshalltown, and her former pastor here, officiated. Interment was made in Highland Cemetery.
