Description	:	Horry Herald August 21, 1906 In Loving Memory On July 25th, 1906, the death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. S. Martin and bore away the sweet spirit of the most loving soul, Miss Nancy, the bright blossom of that home. I was at the bedside of dear sister Nancy only a few minutes before she passed across the beautiful river, Jordan. Martin and bore away the sweet spirit of the most loving soul, Miss Nancy, the bright blossom of that home. I was at the bedside of dear sister Nancy only a few minutes before she passed across the beautiful river, Jordan. Feeling obligations to come home, I departed with dear Nancy to meet no more here on earth. Nancy was a lovely girl of about nineteen summers. Mr. Martin her father has been the blessed recipient of two faithful and devoted partners, and we know it must have been a happy union when dear Nancy met mother BeeDee in glory. Nancy you have left us here in the valley of shadow, but soon we hope to join yoru happy band where parting will be no more. It seemed that no relief could be found for her intense pain except for the will of the good Lord. All that was done by willing hands and prayful hearts could not stay the hand of death. She leaves her home friends and relatives and lots of others to mourn their loss, but we trust that our loss is her eternal gain. I am personally grateful to those who assisted us in our needs. We are content that she is resting under the shade of the everlasting trees. May God help us all to meet dear Nancy in the home of many mansions about, is the prayer of Her brother, D. M. Martin.
