Description	:	Obituary: Mrs. Nancy Smith, mother of B. F. Smith of this city, died of old age at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Morris Osborne, near Leonard, April 18, 1895. The funeral took place at the residence of Mr. Osborne at 2 p.m. April 20th, conducted by Rev. James Vallier, after which the body was laid to rest in the Gray family burying ground. Mrs. Smith was born in Virginia in 1817. Her husband, Charles L. Smith, died at his home in Taylor township June 14, 1892, since which time Mrs. Smith has lived with her children, spending most of her time with her son, B. F. Smith in this city. She was 78 years old last February. She wS a faithful member of the Christian church and a woman held in high esteem by all who knew her. She leaves three sons and three daughters, all married, and quite a number of grandchildren. Thiis cemetery is very difficult to find & get to, it's abandoned, overgrown, most stones are down or buried under foliage & is in bad condition as of Oct 2007; the only stones found were of Charles M. Osburn, Sarah E. Stephenson, Benjamin VanVactor & Ella K. Gordon as of Oct 2007.
