Description	:	From the Skidmore, Missouri New Era, November 5, 1908, page 6, column 2: "Mrs. Wm. Reed Died Sunday Evening at 4 O'clock. Mrs. Wm. Reed died at her home northeast of town, Sunday evening at 4 o'clock. She leaves a husband and six children, the youngest of which are a pair of beautiful little twins, a boy and girl. Her funeral was preached by her pastor, Rev. L. W. Gunby, Tuesday at 2 o'clock p.m. in the M. E. Church, South, at Quitman. The burial took place in the Quitman cemetery. Reed. Nannie Belle (Huff) Reed was born in Clinton county, Missouri, September 25, 1866, and died at the age of 42 years, 1 month and 6 days. She was married to William A. Reed on September 18, 1884. She united with the Christian church at the age of fifteen and in 1883 was taken into the M. E. church, South, by letter. She has ever afterward lived a faithful Christian until her death. She leaves a husband, mother, father, six children, three boys and three girls, five sisters and one brother to mourn her death. Her funeral was conducted at Quitman Tuesday, November 3, by her pastor, Rev. L. W. Gunby, and a large concourse of sympathizing relatives and friends assembled to pay their last respects."
