(FERGUSON) HARBAUGH, 97, a resident of Quincy Village, Quincy, PA and formerly of Dutrow Avenue, Blue Ridge Summit, PA, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the nursing home. Born February 16, 1914 in Sabillasville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Amos E. and Rhoda (Kipe) Ferguson. Mrs. Harbaugh attended Waynesboro Business College. She and her husband, the late Mr. Wilmer J. Harbaugh, were married January 5, 1933. He passed away September 26, 1973. She entered the nursing home in February 2009. (FERGUSON) HARBAUGH, 97, a resident of Quincy Village, Quincy, PA and formerly of Dutrow Avenue, Blue Ridge Summit, PA, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the nursing home. Born February 16, 1914 in Sabillasville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Amos E. and Rhoda (Kipe) Ferguson. Mrs. Harbaugh attended Waynesboro Business College. She and her husband, the late Mr. Wilmer J. Harbaugh, were married January 5, 1933. He passed away September 26, 1973. She entered the nursing home in February 2009. Mrs. Harbaugh was employed in the PX at Site R and as a cashier at Mountain Gate Restaurant in Thurmont, MD. She was a member of Germantown Church of God, Cascade, MD and served as a volunteer for the Blue Ridge Summit Fireman's Carnival for over 25 years. Mrs. Harbaugh is survived by three children, Lawrence W. Harbaugh of Waynesboro, Donald M. Harbaugh of Highfield, MD and Beverly Debrick of Sabillasville, MD; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Helen Cox, Lola DeWees, Bernice Warren, Ellen DeWees and Mona Staley; and one brother, Carlton Ferguson. Graveside services were held Wednesday, March 30, 2011, in Blue Ridge Cemetery, Thurmont, MD with Pastor Mark Hosler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, South Central PA Chapter, 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
