Read More	Naomi Ellen Harris Yakima Herald-Republic (WA) - Tuesday, July 29, 2003 Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home YAKIMA - "Mother", "Granny", "Grandma", Naomi Ellen Harris, 95, Yakima, WA died Sunday, July 27, 2003, at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 14, 1908 in Imboden, Arkansas to Bascomb and Ellen (Ward) Davis. Naomi was raised and educated in Imboden, Arkansas. She married Alvin Harris February 23, 1927 at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. They moved to Washington State from Gidean, Missouri in 1949 and lived in Cowiche and Tieton before making their home in Yakima where they owned a car lot on Fruitvale Blvd. Naomi was a member of the Fruitvale Baptist Church and then the First Baptist Church. She received the most joy out of life and had the best attitude. She is survived by her children, Bill (Ruth) Harris, Delbert (Fran) Harris, Estelle Hagey and Juanita Sommers all of Selah, WA; a sister-in-law, Gladys Davis of Jonesboro, AR; ten grandchildren, twenty-two greatgrandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren and extra special, special friend and caregiver, Josie Castro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin in 1979; by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; two grandsons; two sons-in-law and by infant twin daughters. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home Chapel. Concluding services and burial will follow at West Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 1 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, 9 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, and before the service Thursday morning at Langevin-Mussetter.
