Description	:	NAOMI MOSER Mrs. Naomi F (Schroyer) Moser,95, formerly of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Citizen's Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the loving wife of John S Moser who preceded her on May 9, 2009. They were married for 68 years. Born May 5, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Howard and Mary Palmer Schroyer. Read More	NAOMI MOSER Mrs. Naomi F (Schroyer) Moser,95, formerly of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Citizen's Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the loving wife of John S Moser who preceded her on May 9, 2009. They were married for 68 years. Born May 5, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Howard and Mary Palmer Schroyer. She graduated from Middletown High School in 1939. In 1940, she married Johnny and worked along side him on their dairy farm in Middletown. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing and making crafts. She loved growing her huge collection of African Violets. She was a quiet person with a gentle kindness about her. Upon her marriage, she joined the Pleasant View Church of the Brethren and was a faithful member for many years. She taught Sunday School, was involved with the youth group and was a member of the Women's Fellowship and the Jolly Knotters quilting group and made many baby quilts for the Church's Disaster Auction each year. For the past 5 years, she resided at the Citizen's Nursing Home where she enjoyed playing bingo, saving her quarter winnings to give to her great grandchildren at Christmas. She was encouraged to enter her raisin pie at the Great Frederick Fair where she received blue and red ribbons for the past several years. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Hurst and Patsy Vasquez, one son, Gary Moser and wife Glenna and daughter-in-law, Laurie Moser. Also surviving are her beloved grand children, Shelley Scruggs and husband Danny, Eric Vasquez and wife Christine, Jason Moser and wife Angie, Jeffrey Moser and wife Michelle, Joseph Moser and wife Vicky, Matthew Moser and friend Kim Norris, Rachel Moser and Carl Moser. She is also survived by her twelve great grandchildren whom she loved and enjoyed so much; Naomi and Taylor Scruggs, Makai, Maci and Cruz Vasquez, Ethan, Everett, Ella and Eli Moser, Jocelyn and Vivian Moser, Roger Moser and was looking forward to another great grandchild in April 2018. Mrs. Moser is also survived by one brother, Elvin Schroyer and wife Dorothy, one sister, Leah Schroyer and sister-in-law, Louise Blair, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Moser in June 2007 and her brother, Russell Schroyer. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 23, at 11:30 a.m. at the Pleasant View Brethren near Burkittsville. The Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins. The Rev. Tim May will officiate. Interment will be at the church cemetery. A fellowship meal will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant View church of the Brethren c/o Alma Dade, 4805 Old Middletown Road, Jefferson, MD 21788. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Citizens's for their care and compassion.
