She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Jacobs. Mrs. Jacobs was a member of the Bell Springs United Methodist Church in Noah and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and baking cakes. She is survived by her son, Phil S. She was born on November 6, 1930 in Coffee County, TN to her parents, the late James Willices Goines and Jessie B. Blackburn Goines. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Jacobs. Mrs. Jacobs was a member of the Bell Springs United Methodist Church in Noah and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking and baking cakes. She is survived by her son, Phil S. Jacobs and his wife Jo Anna of Noah, TN; daughter, Carol Todd and her husband Tim of Noah, TN; two sisters, Thelma J. Hill of Noah, TN and Ona Sue Evans of Manchester, TN; two brothers, James Vernon Goines and wife Karen of Manchester, TN and Herbert V. Goines and wife Elaine of Manchester, TN; four grandchildren, Philicia Jacobs Kelley, Philip S. Jacobs, Jr., Jeremy Dewayne Todd and Angela Denise Long; four great-grandchildren, Peyton Alexander Jacobs, Raydon Gavin Todd, Keegan Gage Todd and Ava Marie Long; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation with the family will be on Monday evening, January 9, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Central Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday morning, January 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Central Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Gnat Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be sent to the Manchester Health Care Center for the "Bingo Activities Fund", 395 Interstate Drive, Manchester, TN 37355.
