She passed away Wednesday, August 19, 1992 at Minneapolis Good Samaritan Center, having reached the age of 69 years, 4 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage to George Webster on July 25, 1946 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Minneapolis. To this union one daughter, Belinda, was born. She was united in marriage to George Webster on July 25, 1946 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Minneapolis. To this union one daughter, Belinda, was born. Nartha attended Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina, and taught at Rose Hill and Spring Hill country schools in Ottawa County. She was later employed at J.C. Penney's, Western Auto and United Branch bank in Minneapolis. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Altar Society of Minneapolis and the Women of the Moose Lodge at Concordia. Survivors include: her husband, George, of the home; her daughter, Belinda and her husband Darrell Brown and two grandchildren. A Virgil service was held Friday, August 21 at Shields Funeral Home. A funeral mass was held on Saturday, August 22, 1992 at Immaculate Conception catholic Church with Msgr. James Hake officiating. Vocalists were Dennis and Suzie Foerschler. Harriett Pieschl was the organist. Honorary casket bearers were Leo Webster, Carroll Righter, Bill Krone, Gerald King, John Van Dame, Gilbert Eiler, George King and Jim Myers. Casket bearers were Melvin Webster, Frank Snyder, Randy Moffet, Ed Webster, Bill Levendofsky and Dean Larson. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Kansas Association for Alzheimer's and Similar Diseases, or the Immaculate Conception Church.
