It is supposed he died in the fore part of the night. He had not been complaining and went to bed well as usual. He was 71 years old, and was one of the finest old men in the county. He leaves two brothers A. B. Tanner of Cora, and Ben Tanner of Gallia, and sister Mrs. Martha Prose of Indiana, and is survived by the following children: Mrs. Dan [Mary Jane] Richards of Thurman, Mrs, James Fry of Gage, and Mrs. Morris Ross of New Plymouth, Vinton county, who was here today on her way out, and Miss Ella at home. He was an uncle of Mr. Riley and Vint Tanner of this city. The funeral will be Saturday most probably. He was a member of the Cora M. E.
