NOTE regarding "Lineage of the Bowens of Woodstock, Connecticut" entry for Nathaniel Oliver (see images): • FULLER was uncle to Bethia (Hyde) Hyde Oliver. This reference to Bethia and a Fuller family member found in a will is a source of an error now corrected by historians and genealogists, but is sometimes still repeated. • It is certain MARY (OLIVER) SPARHAWK, wife of Thomas of Cambridge, was the daughter of BETHIA (HYDE) HYDE OLIVER – Bethia being the daughter of Elizabeth (FULLER) and Job HYDE (son of Samuel Hyde and Temperance).
