She was born December 18, 1927, in Pearl, KS, and was the daughter of Henry and Leola (Taylor) Rutz. Nell Ann graduated from Chapman High School in 1945. Read More	ORDER OF EASTERN STAR Nell Ann Adams, 87, of Enterprise, KS passed away Monday, February 16, 2015, at Enterprise Estate Nursing Center. She was born December 18, 1927, in Pearl, KS, and was the daughter of Henry and Leola (Taylor) Rutz. Nell Ann graduated from Chapman High School in 1945. She married Edmond Adams on July 27, 1946, and together they made their home in Enterprise. Nell Ann worked for J.B. Ersham Manufacturing and later at Combustion Engineering Company. She was a member of the Enterprise United Methodist Church, was active in Eastern Star and was always willing to volunteer at numerous civic activities. Nell Ann encouraged her sons in all aspects of life and always supported them in their activities including school, sports, and scouting. Her love of animals and most especially cats was demonstrated by her feeding every stray in town. Canvas needlepoint was another expression of her love. Nell Ann used her craft to make numerous gifts for family and friends. She loved spending weekends at the lake camping and boating with family and friends. Nell Ann was a very caring and fun-loving person and will be deeply missed by all. Nell Ann is survived by two sons, John (Teresa) of Manhattan, and Randy (Barbara) of Olathe; 10 grandchildren: Pat (Kelli) and Mike (Karen) Adams, Shelly and Greg (Leslie) Wholer, Brian (Cate) and Kaci Adams, Patrick (Julie) O'Brien, Christopher, Nathaniel, and Austin Edmonson; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great, great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Bernice Rutz of Colorado and brother-in-law Lloyd Franklin of Abilene.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edmond Adams, on July 20, 1988, infant son, Robert Eugene Adams, brothers, James and Thomas Rutz and infant brother, John Richard Rutz. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the Enterprise United Methodist Church at 308 N. Bridge St., in Enterprise, followed by the memorial service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery South in Enterprise. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Enterprise Estate Nursing Center, ISIS Shrine, or the Enterprise United Methodist Church.
