She was preceded in death by her parents, Blanche and Oliver Harrelson, three sisters, Edna H. Edmondson, Laura H. Edmondson, Wilma H. Watts Green, and 4 brothers, Milton Harrelson, Monroe Harrelson, Wallace Harrelson, and Billy Harrelson, as well as her husband, Willie Clarence Shelley, Sr. Nell is survived by a daughter, Carol Shelley Fick and her husband Allan (Tumbling Shoals, Ar) and a son, Willie Clarence Shelley, Jr. (Booty) and his wife, Denise ( Murrells Inlet, SC). She also leaves behind 4 granddaughters, Shelley D. Miller (Matt), Caroline S. Pate (Jordan), Laura D. Schwarz (Robert), and Casey S. Maier (Lloyd) and two grandsons, Alec Dziuba (Suzete) and Grey Dziuba (Kayla). Nell leaves to cherish her memory her six great granddaughters, Bailey, Charlotte, Catherine, McKinley, Lula, and Gabby and two great grandsons, Alec and Rostan. Visitation will be at 10:00 am prior to her memorial service Monday, 11, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Conway, SC. A private burial with family will follow at Lakeside cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association Research: 2090 Executive Hal Rd. Ste. 130 Charleston, SC 29407.
