Description	:	Mrs. S. Vencill Dies at Kimball Mrs. Semoss Vencill, 45, prominent Kimball lady, passed away at her home here early Monday morning. Cancer was the cause of death. Mrs. Vencill had not been well for some time and for the past week had been confined to her bed. Coming to Kimball three years ago Mrs. Vencill had established a wide circle of friends here. She formerly was a resident of Holbrook, where she had resided for many years. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Methodist church, Reverend J. H. Nellie Grace Everston was born in Jones county, Anamosa, Iowa, Jan. 17, 1877, and departed this life at Kimball, Nebraska, February 16, 1931, aged 54 years and 29 days. On April 14, 1897, she was married to Semoss Vencill, at Holbrook, Nebraska. To this union eight children were born, six boys and two girls. Two of these children preceded her to the other life - Gladys at the age of 15 years and Melvin when just a baby. The six remaining children are Orville, Lloyd, Milo, Doyle, Charley and Gleneve Vencill, all of Kimball. Besides her children are her husband, mother, seven grandchildren, five brothers and eight sisters, and many other relatives and friends who mourn her death. She lived at Holbrook, Nebraska, until three years ago, when the family came to Kimball, which has been their home since. Early in life she became a Christian, and was a consistent member of the Baptist church at Holbrook. To know Mrs. Vencill was to love and admire her. Her unselfish devotion and untiring services to her family, relatives and friends will forever live in their thoughts.
