Description	:	HELENA - Nellie Mae Dygert, 80, died Friday afternoon, May 29, 2009, at St. Peters Hospital in Helena. Nellie was born on Nov. 27, 1928, in Red Lodge, to Charles Calvin and Della (Ruckman) Vincent. She was raised on the family ranch near Luther with her seven brothers and sisters. Read More	HELENA - Nellie Mae Dygert, 80, died Friday afternoon, May 29, 2009, at St. Peters Hospital in Helena. Nellie was born on Nov. 27, 1928, in Red Lodge, to Charles Calvin and Della (Ruckman) Vincent. She was raised on the family ranch near Luther with her seven brothers and sisters. On Sept. 22, 1945, she was married to the love of her life, Ernie Dygert, in Billings. They made their living building highways all over Montana, therefore living in many places before settling in Helena 34 years ago. Nellie was a beautiful wife, loving mother, exceptional grandma, great-grandma and sister. Her outgoing, happy, loving personality was the center of the family life for all of us. In retirement, Ernie and Nellie enjoyed camping with the Treasure State Wheelers Good Sam Club. They traveled many winters down south, spending many years in Overton, Nev. They made many lasting friendships along the way. Nellie was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Bozeman, the VFW and DAV Auxiliaries in Helena. She enjoyed her family, traveling, gardening, cooking and sewing. Her special sewing talent included making quilts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nellie is survived by her husband of 63 years; her daughter and her husband of Helena, a son and his wife of Belgrade, and a son and his wife of Spokane, Wash.; her two brothers and their wives; 2 sisters; a sister-in-law; her 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mom and dad; brothers, Walter and Raymond Vincent; her sister, Oleta Powell; granddaughter, Schelly Betts; and three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jon and Jillian Tielking.
