Funeral services were conducted by her nephew, Rev. E. C. Meyers, who was assisted by Rev. Bernard Kocher and Rev. August J. Foerster in the solemn high mass ceremony. Members of the Married Ladies Sodality of the church attended in a body. Burial was made at Templeton, the former home of the Meyers family. Read More	Mrs. Henry Meyers, a resident of Carroll county since 1875, died at St. Anthony hospital Friday morning, December 2, after an illness extending over many months. Mrs. Meyers, whose maiden name was Nellie Rosauer, was the daughter of the late Mr. AND Mrs. Joseph Rosauer, and was born in Cologne, Germany, October 24, 1849. She was three years old when she came with her parents to America. They first settled in New Orleans, where they remained for two years. Then they moved to Peru, Ill., where they lived until 1864, when they moved to Floyd county. Mr. and Mrs. Meyers were married at North Washington, Ia., February 26, 1871. Their early home was in Chickasaw county and five years later they moved to Roselle township, Carroll county, where they made their home until coming to Carroll in 1906. They sold their home in Carroll a year ago and left for Spirit Lake in March, shortly after celebrating their golden wedding, February 26, 1921. In May of this year Mrs. Meyers suffered a stroke of paralysis, at which time her left side was paralyzed, and her health since was very poor. They returned to Carroll during the summer and a few weeks ago she was taken to St. Anthony hospital. Of the 10 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Meyers, three died in infancy. One son, Louis, died at the age of 18 years. Those who survive are: Joseph Meyers, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Frank Meyers, of Dubuque, Mrs. J. C. Arts, of this city; Mrs. M. V. Wolfe, of Jerome, Idaho; Harry Meyers, of Antonito, Colo., and Olive Meyers, of Carroll. She also leaves her husband, two brothers, Joe Rosauer and Peter Rosauer, of Danbury, and one sister, Mrs. Henry Heller, of Milford. Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Heller, Rev. E.C. Meyers, John Meyers, Lena Meyers, of Milford, Ia. Joe Rosauer, of Danbury, and Dr. and Mrs. F.M.
