Description	:	Nellie Ruth Kirker, age 83, formerly of Uniontown, died at Medicalodge of Fort Scott Sunday evening, June 3, 2001. She was born Feb. 9, 1918, at Uniontown, the daughter of Sylvester Arthur Chandler and Mabel Landers Chandler. Sshe married W. Fred Kirker Dec. 15, 1938, in Altamont. He preceded her in Death Sept 2, 1982. She was a lifelong resident of the Uniontown area, graduated from Uniontown High School, and was a member of the Uniontown United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Larry Allen Kirker of Overland Park; a daughter, Donna Burns of Fort Scott, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two step... Connie McKee and William James Schafer will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. at the Uniontown United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Uniontown Cemetery under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Uniontown United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association, and left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St. P.O.
