Description	:	1955 Mrs. Marvin Carmichael Dies at Pickering Home Mrs. Nellie Victoria Carmichael, 56, was found dead in the family home near Pickering at 4:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon by her husband, Marvin Carmichael, when he returned to the home after spending the early part of the afternoon in Maryville. Mrs. Carmichael had been in poor health for several years but the death was unexpected since she had appeared to be somewhat improved the past two days. Mrs. Carmichael was born June 17, 1897 at Pickering, the daughter of William Sadler and the late Mrs. Sadler. She was married April 15, 1914, to Marvin Carmichael, who is a former presiding judge of the Nodaway county court. Mrs. Carmichael was a member of the Pickering Christian church, Pickering Christian Women's Fellowship, Bloomfield Needlework club and the Nodaway County Women's Democratic Club. Survivors include her husband of the home' a son, Donald F. Carmichael, Dayton Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Lester E. Reaksecker, Jr., Maryville, and Mrs. David Hockensmith, Pickering; her father, William Sadler, Omak, Washington; two brothers, Harvey J. Sadler, St. Jospeh, and Charles Sadler, Omak, Washington; three sisters, Mrs. C. G. Swinford and Mrs. Bert Neidel, Maryville, and Mrs. J. B. Corrigan, Chicago, Illinois, and ten grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. yesterday at the Pickering Christian church for Mrs. Nellie Carmichael, who died Thursday. The Rev. Delbert Dick officiated and burial was in the White Oak Cemetery.
