Pallbearers will be Steve Tyson IV, Chris Huffman, Justin Nivens, Mike Summers Jr., Billy Bingham, Kenny Bingham, Daniel Smoak and Jerry Kittrell. Mrs. Hall served God and her church faithfully until her health would no longer permit. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Orangeburg and was a Sunday School Teacher for over 30 years. (Miss Nellie) was an avid reader of the Bible up until the last year of her life and loved to be quizzed on verses. She was married to the late John H. Hall for fifty-seven years. Mrs. Hall was born April 12, 1909, in Orangeburg County, a daughter of the late Jerry Whetstone and the late Florrie Judy Whetstone. She is survived by her only child, Mrs. DeLaurie H. Nivens of Orangeburg; one sister, LuRene W. (Morrison) Whetstone of Orangeburg; grandchildren, Kathy N. (Jim) Huffman of Orangeburg and Ray S. (Rhett) Nivens Jr. of Bishopville; great-grandchildren, Steve E. (Amy) Tyson IV of St. Matthews, Justin Nivens of Holly Hill and Lauren N. (Mike) Summers of Cameron; great-great-grandchildren, Maggie Nivens of Holly Hill, Seth Tyson of St. Matthews, and Hunter Summers of Cameron. Friends may call at the residence of Kathy and Jim Huffman, 1380 Dogwood Drive, Orangeburg and Thompson Funeral Home Inc. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Davis Hall, at the First Baptist Church in Orangeburg. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1240 Russell St., Orangeburg, SC 29115 or to the Family Life Center of the First Baptist Church, 2875 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118.
