Description	:	Nelson Noah Comer, 88, of Shenandoah, died on Sunday, Feb 17, 2008, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. He was born on Oct 10, 1919, in Page County and was a son of the late Noah F and Victoria Grimsley Comer. Mr. Comer attended Grove Hill School and was a member of the Mount Lebanon Congregational Christian Church. He was employed with the N&W Railroad before retiring. His wife, Elizabeth Grimsley, died on Oct 13, 2003. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Grimsley; six brothers, Melvin, Albert, Edwin, Elby, Merle and Gilbert Comer; and three sisters, Elva Huffman, Frances Painter and Lorene Good. A funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, Feb 20 at the Mount Lebanon Congregational Christian Churcj by the Rev. Gary Edenfield. Burial was in the Sam Comer Cemetery.
