His brothers, Oliver, Jr., Bobby, Benny, Terry, and David Manning also precede him. Left to cherish his memory are, brothers, Henry, Rocky, Larry, and Michael Manning; two sisters & brothers-in-law, Linda & Tom Iddings and Katherine & Junior Sowers; sisters-in-law, Carmen Manning and Karen Nicholson; numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was a quiet, gentle, and humble man. He proudly served in the United States Army. In his younger days, his life revolved around playing ball with his brothers and attending races. He drove a oil/gas truck for many years in Floyd and Roanoke County. Later in life, Paul enjoyed mowing yards for folks in the Bent Mountain and Copper Hill areas and watching sports. Funeral Service will be held on at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Copper Hill Church of the Brethren with Pastor Dan Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Copper Hill Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel.
