Description	:	Mrs. Nettie L. Meeks, 83, of 122 S. Delphine Ave., died at 8:40 p.m. Sunday in Waynesboro Community Hospital. Mrs. Meeks was a former resident of Baltimore, Md., and had lived in Waynesboro for 12 years. She was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church. She was born on April 4, 1886 in Nelson County, a daughter of the late William Samuel and Lucy Campbell Grove. Mrs. Meeks was a former resident of Baltimore, Md., and had lived in Waynesboro for 12 years. She was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church. She was born on April 4, 1886 in Nelson County, a daughter of the late William Samuel and Lucy Campbell Grove. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Meeks; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Tudor of Havre De Grace, Md.; and the following children by her marriage to Harry Staige Falls who died July 18, 1926, three daughters, Mrs. N. Warren (Lucy) Cook and Mrs. Berkeley (Hallie) Campbell, both of Waynesboro; and Mrs. Howard (Helen) Meeks of Roseland; two sons, Grafton Staige Falls of Route 1, Waynesboro, and William (Pete) Falls of Roseland; two brothers, William David Grove of Waynesboro and Hunter Grove of Halifax, N. C.; one sister, Mrs. Mickey Grove of Waynesboro; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Elwood Campbell. Burial will be in Beech Grove Christian Church Cemetery, Nelson County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Haywood Campbell, Charles Meeks, Garnett Falls, Russell Falls, Clyde Reade, and Wallace Painter. Honorary pallbearers will be Bernard Painter, John C. McGann, Herman Fields, Maphis Campbell, Jerry Falls, Hawthorn Falls, Allen Taylor, John Everett Campbell, Luther McGann, William Courtney, Maury Puckett, Edmon Hogsett, Dr. B. K.
