Description	:	Neva died at Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Alden. Neva attended rural schools in Buckeye Township and graduated from Radcliffe High School in 1933. Neva completed the High School Normal Training course and after graduation began teaching in the rural schools of Hardin County. Her teaching career included 24 years in rural schools and 21 years as a member of the Radcliffe Community School faculty. Neva was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Alden Lutheran Ladies Aid, Retired School Personnel and the Iowa State Education Association. She loved to work with young people and taught Vacation Bible School, Sunday School and had been a member of the church choir. Survivors included a sister, two nieces, a nephew, five great-nieces and great-nephews, and a brother-in-law. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vera Duncan, and an infant sister, Marie.
