Description	:	Neva I. Egeberg was born on January 17, 1918 the daughter of John and Emma (Thompson) Pederson. She died on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the United Retirement Center in Brookings at the age of 88. Neva received her education in Brookings County and was a graduate of the Sinai High School in 1937. She was united in marriage to Clarence R. Egeberg on March 29, 1946 in Madison, SD. Neva received her education in Brookings County and was a graduate of the Sinai High School in 1937. She was united in marriage to Clarence R. Egeberg on March 29, 1946 in Madison, SD. Together they spent most of their married life in Brookings where Neva was employed at various jobs for many years. Clarence died on October 23, 1995 in Sioux Falls, SD. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Brookings and was active in the church circle. She enjoyed baking and reading. Her real passion in life was her quilting. She made many quilts and will be remembered each time her quilts are used by family and friends. Neva is survived by two sons Mitchell Egeberg (Ellen) of Lincoln, NE, James Egeberg (Patricia) of Valley City, ND; her grandchildren Sarah and Jason Wiese, Erik and Ann Egeberg, Kari, Ryan and Scott Egeberg; and one brother Julian Pederson of Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Evelyn Norby, Dorothy Coulson and three brothers Clifford, Francis and Lester Pederson.
