Description	:	Neva June Kind, 72, a longtime Mansfield resident, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at the Lake Chelan Hospital. She was born at Mansfield to Jesse James and R. Belle (Kelley) Eidson. She grew up and attended school at Mansfield. Neva, in her lifetime, had several jobs but one that pleased her the most, was as a school bus driver for Mansfield schools. Belle (Kelley) Eidson. She grew up and attended school at Mansfield. Neva, in her lifetime, had several jobs but one that pleased her the most, was as a school bus driver for Mansfield schools. She drove for them from 1968 until her retirement in 1990. She loved flowers and her yard was a beauty spot as well as her garden. She married Vernon C. Kind at Post Falls, ID on July 10, 1942. On Sept. 16, 1969, Neva joined the Mansfield Rebekah Lodge #281 and was a member until her death. She served that Lodge as Warden in 1971, Left Support to the Noble Grand from 1979-1981, as Secretary from 1991-1999, as Treasurer in 1977-1978 and 1986-1987, as Vice Grand in 1974 and Noble Grand in 1972 and 1975. She was past President of District #17 in 1975. Survivors include her husband, Vern at the family home; a son, Daniel Angus of Reno, NV; a daughter, Marlys Priest of Mansfield; a grandson, Jeffery Priest, Jr. in a Ranger Division in the military; and three sisters, Ruth Nilles of Riverside, Evah Cooper of Klamath Falls, OR and Elsie MacInyre of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by a son and her parents. Private family graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday morning, May 13, 2000, in the Mansfield Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Mansfield Ambulance in Neva's name. Arrangements are by the Waterville Funeral Home. Obit provided by Teresa
