Description	:	Nicholas Gremm, 90, Hollywood, California, retired Edmunds, North Dakota community farmer, died Saturday at his home in Hollywood. he had been in failing health for the past years. Funeral services were held August 15, at the Eddy Chapel in Jamestown, North Dakota with Rev. N.E. McCoy officiating. Mr Gremm was born May 24, 1878, in Queck, Germany, son of Mr and Mrs Frederick Gremm. He came to the United States alone at the age of 14 and settled in Iowa, later moving to Preston, Minnesota. Mr Gremm was born May 24, 1878, in Queck, Germany, son of Mr and Mrs Frederick Gremm. He came to the United States alone at the age of 14 and settled in Iowa, later moving to Preston, Minnesota. He was married to Amelia Wintz at Preston July 30, 1903. They farmed in Minnesota for several years then moved to Edmunds community, where they farmed until moving into Edmunds. In 1942, Mr and Mrs Gremm moved to Hollywood, where their home had been since. Mrs Gremm died on November 27, 1963. Mr Gremm had attended the Edmunds Congregational Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Sherman (Benita) Zink of Pingree, ND and Miss Irma Gremm of Hollywood, CA; two granchildren; a brother, Conrad Gremm , Fort St John, B.C., Canada and a sister, Mrs Katherine Schafer of Queck, Germany. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by two sons. Mr and Mrs Marvin Schoppers of Preston, MN, attended the funeral. Mrs Gremm was an aunt of Mrs Schoppers.
