He was a furrier and later owned and operated a grocery store in South Sioux City for 19 years, retiring in 1968 because of poor health. Mr. Gosen served with the U. S. Air Force on Guadalcanal during World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, St. Thomas Orthodox Church and the Mens Club of the church. Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Alma Gosen of Sioux City and Mrs. Frieda Dacy of Washington, D. C. The Sioux City Journal, May 21, 1982
