Mrs. A. K. Coombs and Mrs. H. R. DeLand sang with Mrs. Erving Hanzel at the piano. Pallbearers were Albert Christensen, Joe R. Tuma, Chester Klein, William Christensen, H. P. Hansen and Erving Hanzel. Interment was in Dannevirke cemetery. Keating Mortuary was in charge. Christensen, 62 years, a resident of this community all his life, died at his home in Cotesfield Wednesday morning, April 30. He had been stricken with a heart attack earlier that morning. Mr. Christensen was born July 26, 1884 on a farm near Elba to C. P. and Loraine Christensen. He attended school and grew to manhood there. On November 29, 1905, Mr. Christensen was married to Miss Anna Ebbesen at St. Paul. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith. He was an extensive stock and grain farmer, but last fall, because of ill health he sold out his stock and his landed interests and with his wife, retired to Cotesfield where they had purchased a home. Surviving are his loving wife, Anna, a sister, Mrs. Christina Andersen, two brothers, H. C. Christensen and Fred Christensen, both of Grand Island. Mr. Christensen was a kind and loving husband, always thinking of others. He was an ambitious hard working man. He will be greatly missed by his wife and by many friends in the Cotesfield and Dannevirke communities. Followed by a Card of Thanks
