Nancy Visker (sic) Dilly was born March 25, 1889, at Oude-Pekela, Netherlands, the daughter of Henry Visker and Grace Flink. She attended school in the Netherlands, and at the age of 12 came to the United States with her parents in 1901, settling at Little Rock, Iowa. She was married to John Jacob Dilly on March 25, 1910, at Rock Rapids, Iowa, after which they farmed in Lyon and Osceola counties before moving to a farm southwest of Tracy in 1941. They retired to Tracy in 1946. Mrs. Dilly is survived by 11 children; Jennie Harjehausen and Mrs. Edwin Schmidt, Sibley, Iowa; Louise Dammer, Ocheycdan, La.; Mrs. George Smith, Mrs. Herb Hohler, John J. Dilly and William Dilly, all of Tracy; Mrs. Arthur Martens George, Delores Dilly, Scottsdale, Ariz.; James O. Dilly, Sacramento, Calif., and Harvey Dilly in the U. S. Air Force. She was preceded in death by her husband 16 years ago and by one son, Henry Dilly. Brothers and sisters who survive include: Mrs. Cornelia Boekhout, Little Rock; Mrs. Gezena Kor, Marshall; Eltjo Visker, Tracy; Julio Visker, Ellsworth; and Mrs. Mary Cousyn, Bellflower, Calif. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren. Mrs. Dilly was a member of the Tracy United Methodist church and the Women's Society of that church. Interment was made in the cemetery at Little Rock. Pallbearers were Henry Kor, Dick Visker, Henry K. Visker, Henry Boekhout, John Visker and Joe Visker.
