Description	:	"Nila J. Utterback, 80 years, of Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Fremont, Nebraska and Arlington, Nebraska died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at her home in Lincoln. Nila was born December 3, 1936 at Fremont to Loren and Eula (Adams) Masters. She moved from Blair to Arlington in the second grade and was a 1954 graduate of Arlington High School. Nila was born December 3, 1936 at Fremont to Loren and Eula (Adams) Masters. She moved from Blair to Arlington in the second grade and was a 1954 graduate of Arlington High School. Nila married Carlin L. Utterback on August 15, 1954 in Arlington. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1988. In 1986 she moved to Fremont. She moved to Lincoln in 1993. She worked for Carol Wright Gifts in Lincoln since 1993. She was a very active member of the North East United Church of Christ in Lincoln. She had formerly belonged to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Nila enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles, country and gospel music, spectator sports, gardening, Jeopardy, Husker football and March Madness. She loved animals. She is survived by sons, Randall (Judy) Utterback of Crete, Nebraska and Kirk Utterback of Omaha, Nebraska; daughters, Kiltie Kobold of Wahoo, Nebraska and Wendy Goebel of Hampton, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Gwen; fifteen grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carlin; son, Clay Utterback; and brother, Richard Masters. Funeral Service will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Pastor Melissa Finlaw-Draper will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 5 PM to 8 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Following at luncheon at Moser's Social Room Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery at Arlington, Nebraska. Memorials may be designated to the Nebraska Children’s Home Society in Omaha."
