Description	:	Nimrod was the son of Catharine Huffman and Jacob Showalter. He married Sarah Ann Shambaugh Mar. 21, 1839 in Warren Co., VA. They had nine children, Mary, Martha, Charles, Ellen, Isaiah, James, Franklin, Joseph and Sarah. Sarah died in 1862. N.H. then married Nancy Ann Brown Aug. 18, 1863 in Greencastle, Indiana. They had five children, Janetta, Ethleen, Samuel, Chinesa and Gemina. The family moved to Iowa in 1872/3.	Nimrod was the son of Catharine Huffman and Jacob Showalter.
