Description	:	Nina R. Kamp was born February 18, 1920 to Martin and Jennie (Baker) Mulder at the home of her grandparents in Firth, NE. During her childhood she lived with her parents on farms in the Pella Church area. She attended school at Wooden Shoe School District #20 and graduated from the 8th grade there. Read More	Nina R. Kamp was born February 18, 1920 to Martin and Jennie (Baker) Mulder at the home of her grandparents in Firth, NE. During her childhood she lived with her parents on farms in the Pella Church area. She attended school at Wooden Shoe School District #20 and graduated from the 8th grade there. On July 16, 1941 Nina married Joe Kamp. (They celebrated 71 years of marriage) In January 1942 Joe was drafted into the Army and Nina returned to live with her parents while Joe served 3 ½ years in World War II. When Joe returned, they lived on farms near Adams and Firth. They had one daughter Judy. In 1963 they moved into Firth and in 1990 they moved to Eagle, NE to be closer to their daughter, Judy. This is where Joe and Nina called home until 2012 when Joe’s health dictated that they move to a retirement facility in Lincoln. Nina resided at Windcrest Assisted Living Facility until her death. Nina did house cleaning for Lincoln families for many years. She was a member of the Pella Reformed Church and the Ladies Mission Circle. After moving to Eagle, NE she became a member of Hope Community Church and the Gold Folks group. Survivors include her daughter, Judy (Ray) Althouse of Eagle, NE; granddaughter, Janae (Matthew) Tapper of Elkhart, IA; great grandsons, Lucas and Kaden Tapper; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Ray; brothers and sisters in law. Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday (7-15-20) at Pella Cemetery. No Viewing/No Visitation.
