Description	:	Noah Steckly Obit Noah Steckly was born Aug. 4, 1896 near Milford, Nebr. and departed this life at his home in Geneva, May 6, 1940, at the age of 43 years, 9 months and 2 days. On Aug. 13, 1918 he was united in marriage to Emma Rediger. This union was blessed with one daughter, Florine. At 19 years of age he gave his heart to God. Later he became affiliated with the Assembly of God church in Milford, of which he was a faithful attendant as long as health and physical strength permitted. On Aug. 13, 1918 he was united in marriage to Emma Rediger. This union was blessed with one daughter, Florine. At 19 years of age he gave his heart to God. Later he became affiliated with the Assembly of God church in Milford, of which he was a faithful attendant as long as health and physical strength permitted. In 1930 he and his family moved from Milford to Geneva where he was engaged in Electrical and machine work until the time of his illness. The deceased has been in failing health for the past 2 years and has been practically bed-fast since September 1939. He was preceded in death by his mother; a sister Leah; and 3 brothers, Amos, an infant, and Simon and Eli. He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife and daughter Florine; his father and stepmother. 2 brothers, Moses of Crete, and Menno of Lincoln, 2 sisters, Emma Robbins of Sandpoint, Idaho and Mrs. Matilda Cast of Milford and many other relatives and a host of friends. He was always a devoted husband and a loving father, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Noah Steckly of Geneva, former Milford resident, was called by death early Monday morning. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock at the home in Geneva with Rev. H. A. Dierdorff of the United Brethern Church officiating and at 3 o'clock at the (Assembly of God Church in Milford with Rev. Roy S. Barnes in charge. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery. Out of town relatives of the immediate family who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Moses Steckly and family of Crete, Mr. and Mrs. Menno Steckly, Mrs. Vera Steckly, Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Schulz, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rediger and families of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rediger and family of Hebron, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rediger and son and Miss Marybelle Rediger of Humboldt.
