Burial was at the International Order of the Odd Fellows cemetery, Victor, with pallbearers Don Rohrer, Everett Refer, Dennis Ervin, David Dolmage, Leo Warnick, Jr., and Laverne Weisskopf, all of Victor. Noel Leslie Nace was born Nov. 20, 1903 at rural Victor, Iowa county, the son of Franklin and Malinda Slaymaker Nace. A lifelong resident of Iowa county, Nace attended rural school. On Feb. 20, 1925 he was married to Mildred White at Carnforth. They farmed near Victor until 1976 when they moved into town. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; two sons, Ray, Ladora; and Ken, Marengo; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three daughters-in-law, Sally Nace, Hiawatha; Dee Nace, Ladora, and Joan Nace, Marengo; and one sister-in-law, Ruth Nace, Fort Collins, Colo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Leslie, and two brothers, Leonard and William.
