She married the love of her life, Kenneth Schneidt on September 15, 1949 at St. Augustine Catholic Church of Rensselaer; he survives. Schneidt, 94, of Wolcott, passed away at 3:36 AM, Monday, August 2, 2021 at Autumn Trace Senior Communities of Rensselaer. She was born March 26, 1927 in Jasper County to the late Floyd and Nora (Smith) Warren. Nola was a 1946 graduate of Rensselaer High School. She married the love of her life, Kenneth Schneidt on September 15, 1949 at St. Augustine Catholic Church of Rensselaer; he survives. Nola was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Reynolds, Alter & Rosary Society and Tri Kappa Sorority of Remington. She was a cashier at Kroger and worked many years in the auditing department at Sears. Most of all, Nola loved being a mother and wife, raising 9 children with Kenneth. Nola enjoyed tending to her flowers, gardening, crocheting, quilting, baking, and playing BINGO. Surviving along with her husband, Kenneth, are their children, Mary (Jay) McLaughlin of Idaville, Dale (Janet) Schneidt of Lafayette, Gerald (Rebecca) Schneidt of Indianapolis, Teresa Korschot of Goodland, Daniel Schneidt (companion: Pam Latta) of Kentland, Loretta (Steven) Wetli of Lafayette, Grace (Larry) Mart of Scottsburg, Catherine McCart of Athens, IL, and Christine (Rodney) Herre of Rensselaer. Siblings, Berneice Jackson of Rensselaer, Dennis Warren of Monticello, and Dean Warren of Monticello. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death along with her parents is a brother, David Warren and additional loved ones that have passed before Nola. St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
