Description	:	Nora Straube Nora Straube, age 92, of York, NE went home to Heaven December 11, 2014 at York. She was born October 26, 1922 at Waco, NE to Henry and Lydia (Gocke) Dinkelman. She was united in marriage to Ewald Morner at Waco on February 11, 1944 and became “mom” to three step sons. Following Ewald’s death she moved to Utica, NE. She later married Richard “Dick” Straube on August 27, 1976 and they lived in Burr, NE and later retired to Syracuse, NE. Dick died in March of 1990. Nora moved to York several years later. Nora... Read More	Nora Straube Nora Straube, age 92, of York, NE went home to Heaven December 11, 2014 at York. She was born October 26, 1922 at Waco, NE to Henry and Lydia (Gocke) Dinkelman. She was united in marriage to Ewald Morner at Waco on February 11, 1944 and became “mom” to three step sons. Following Ewald’s death she moved to Utica, NE. She later married Richard “Dick” Straube on August 27, 1976 and they lived in Burr, NE and later retired to Syracuse, NE. Dick died in March of 1990. Nora moved to York several years later. Nora delighted in taking care of her family and her home. She enjoyed traveling to all 50 states, playing cards and bingo. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. She enjoyed daily devotions and Bible study. Nora is survived by a daughter,three sons and three daughter in laws; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, husbands, son, son-in-law , and grandson. Funeral services were held December 16, 2014 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Burial was at St. John’s Cemetery, Waco.
