Argenbright, third daughter of Peter J. and Malinda Hyre died at the home of her brother-in-law, Jas. W. leach, near the head of the Cowpasture river, of typhoid fever resulting in heart failure, June 7, 1901, aged 27 yrs. 2 mos. and 8 days. Nora was, by nature, kind and helpful, hence a favorite among her friends. In the fall of 1892 she married James H. Argenbright of Augusta County, where they afterward resided, until a short time before her death, she came to Highland county, to visit her relatives, and as the sequel proved, to die among them. Of this union was born one daughter, a sweet bud now in her sixth year. Nora was a faithful and true wife, and devoted mother. She gave her heart to God and her name to the M.E. church, south, when quite young. After her marriage she went with her husband to his church, the Lutheran, where she remained a faithful member until God called her to the church Triumphant. Early in her sickness she was impressed with the fact that her end was near, and talked freely to her friends about death. Her confidence in God became brighter as death came nearer, and at one time she startled all, by breaking out in a beautiful song. She passed peacefully and happily to her reward. She leaves to mourn her early death, a husband and daughter (Anna May), two half sisters, Frances, wife of J.C. Beverage, Malinda, wife of J.W. Hevener. Three full sisters, Sally A., wife of J. W.
