Description	:	Anita Tribune March 24, 1966 Rites Held for Nora Harris Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Anita Methodist church for Miss Nora E. Harris, 77. The Rev. Carroll Robinson officiated. Mrs. Lamar Gardner accompanied Garald Harris as he sang, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art." Mr. and Mrs. Merle Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gisibl were in charge of floral arrangements. Casketbearers were Ronald Linderman, Eugene Harris, Harry Stapleton, William Harris, Byron Harris, and John Casey. Interment was in the Massena Center cemetery near Massena. Nora Elizabeth Harris, daughter of Thomas Henry and Luella May Hemphill Harris, was born June 16, 1888 near Massena and passed away Saturday, March 19 at the Crestwood Nursing Home in Anita, where she had been a patient. She attended the rural schools and Fontanelle High School. She began teaching school at the age of 18 and taught for many years. She united with the Pine Grove Methodist church in 1912 and later transferred her membership to the Anita Methodist church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by four brothers, Austin Harris of Massena, Earl and Lloyd of Anita, Ernest of Wiota; one sister, Mrs. Arthur (Ruby) Linderman of Greenfield; one aunt, Alice Hemphill of Fontanelle and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
