Description	:	"Nora J. Eckert age 74 of Fremont passed away Sunday February 8, 2015 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. Nora was born July 11, 1940 in Fremont to Eric and Ann (Dufek) Sinnett. Nora grew up at Ames, NE and was a 1958 graduate of Fremont Senior High School. After high school she attended Lincoln School of Commerce. She then moved to Fremont. She married William K. Eckert on September 17, 1960 in Fremont. She worked at Valmont Industries from 1974 to 2007 in their Accounting Department. William died January 9, 2003. After high school she attended Lincoln School of Commerce. She then moved to Fremont. She married William K. Eckert on September 17, 1960 in Fremont. She worked at Valmont Industries from 1974 to 2007 in their Accounting Department. William died January 9, 2003. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and St. Patrick's Women, Fremont Area Medical Center Auxiliary Volunteer. Nora was especially proud of her birthday trip to Ireland last July. Survivors include her brother, Tom Sinnett and wife June of White Bear Lake, MN and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Eckert and son William J. Eckert in 1971. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Friday, February 13, 2015 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. The Rev. Fr. David Belt will officiate. Visitation will be 3-8 PM on Thursday at Moser Memorial Chapel. Visitation will continue on Friday 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
