Shoemaker of Shelbina, with burial in the Cherry Box Cemetery under direction of Stephens & Goodding. Mrs. Moore passed away Saturday evening at her apartment on N. Rollins St. following a short illness. She had reached the age of 62 years, 7 months and 13 days. She came to Macon from Kansas City and lived in the home of her niece, Mrs. Roy Belt, until a few months ago when she took an apartment on N. Rollins St. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Walter Banta, and a niece, Mrs. Roy Belt, both of Macon; and a foster son, Ellis Moore of St. Louis. SHELBY COUNTY HERALD, Shelbyville, Missouri, Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1943 FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. MOORE Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Nora Lee Moore at the Cherry Box Christian Church conducted by the Rev. J.L. Shoemaker of Shelbina. Mrs. Moore died Saturday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Walter Banta, in Macon. As Nora Lee Voyles, she was born in Illinois, Mar. 17, 1881, the daughter of Madison and Nancy Voyles. On Apr. 12, 1903, she was married to Frank P. Moore. Mrs. Moore united with the Christian Church early in life. Surviving are two brothers, Harvey Voyles of Cherry Box, and Ed Voyles of Leonard; and one sister, Mrs. Walter Banta of Macon. ******************************* Note: ******************************* Census records indicate she was born in 1877
