Robuck, died at the St. Elizabeth Hospital at Hannibal at 8:00 o'clock Friday morning at the age of 55 years. She had been in failing health for some time, and seriously ill since Monday monring when she underwent a major operation. A daughter of the late Aaron and Rosa Lewis. At the age of three, she... Read More	Clarence, Shelby, Missouri, March 1937 Mrs. Nora Lewis Robuck, wife of the late Porter S. Robuck, died at the St. Elizabeth Hospital at Hannibal at 8:00 o'clock Friday morning at the age of 55 years. She had been in failing health for some time, and seriously ill since Monday monring when she underwent a major operation. A daughter of the late Aaron and Rosa Lewis. Mrs. Robuck was born in Shelby county on December 2, 1881. All her life had been spent in this community, where she had filled an important place as neighbor, friend and mother. At the age of three, she was baptized by Rev. Dayhoff of the Methodist church. In 1904 she was converted and baptized by Rev. J. T. Kimbrough at the Holiness church, south of Clarence. On February 22, 1900, she was united in marriage to Porter S. Robuck, who preceded her in death March 28, 1935. They located on a farm south of Clarence where they lived their entire married life. To this union three children were born: Ms. Howard Thompson, Clarence, Mo.; Pauline Robuck, Hannibal, Mo., and Katherine Robuck, at home. She had one little granddaughter, Charlotte Ann Thompson. Other surviving relatives are: three sisters, Mrs. Willis Cross, Clarence, Mo.; Mrs. Hugh Caldwell, Leonard, Mo.; and Mrs. Sam Sanner, Clarence, Mo., and two brothers, M. H. Lewis, Harlinger, Texas and J. E. Lewis, Kalispell, Mont. Rev. J. S. Sneed assisted by Rev. Oscar Rogers, had charge of the services at the Holiness church. The large congregation present bore silent tribute to this loved one. Burial rites were held in the Maplewood cemetery at Clarence.
