Description	:	Nora Mabel was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Ackley and Mary Readout Garrett. She married Roy Arms in 1906 and they were the parents of Herbert, Pearl, Florence, and Beatrice Arms. After the death of her husband, she married Anton Barglof March 19, 1924 at Greenville, Iowa. He died Jan 2, 1939. She is survived by her son and 3 daughters; 2 sisters (Mrs Wm Dinwiddie and Mrs Maurice Hanson); 24 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 2 sisters (Agnes & Jennie), and 1 brother (Robert Garrett). OBITUARY - Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Barglof of Greenville were held Saturday morning, November 23, at the Warner Chapel at Spencer with Rev. Thomas Good officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Barglof was born Dec. 13, 1882 at Marshalltown, the daughter of Ackley and Mary Garrett. She married Roy Arms June 21, 1906, at Marshalltown. He died October 16, 1916. March 19, 1924, she married Anton Barglof at Greenville who died January 2, 1939. Mrs. Barglof died last Tuesday at the Spencer Municipal Hospital. Among the survivors are a son, Herbert Arms of Milford, and a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Pearl) Welle, also of Milford. Preceding her in death were her parents, one step son, two sisters, one brother and her first and second husbands. BIRTH CERTIFICATE - First child in family, Dr Ward, father a farmer, Delayed birth certificate evidence taken from Bible Record, Certificate has signature of mother.
