Description	:	Fremont Tribune, February 20, 2006: "Norbert Schorn, 74, of Norfolk died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. He was born July 6, 1931, in Crofton to Paul and Margaret (Gentrup) Schorn. He was raised by Herman and Catherine Schorn at Monterey. He attended school in Monterey. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952-54. He married Martha Neesen on April 23, 1957, in Aloys. They moved to Norfolk in 1978 where he worked for Vulcraft, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Sacred Heart/St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus... He was born July 6, 1931, in Crofton to Paul and Margaret (Gentrup) Schorn. He was raised by Herman and Catherine Schorn at Monterey. He attended school in Monterey. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952-54. He married Martha Neesen on April 23, 1957, in Aloys. They moved to Norfolk in 1978 where he worked for Vulcraft, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Sacred Heart/St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4912 of West Point. Survivors include: his wife; a daughter, Diane (Mrs. Tom) Pratt of Lincoln; a son, James of Fremont; a brother, Kenneth (and wife, Maureen) of West Point; his stepmother, Rose Schorn of Yankton, S.D.; and a stepbrother, David (and wife, Linda) Schorn of Seattle. He was preceded in death by a brother. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Monterey with the Rev. Jerry Gonderinger officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at Howser-Fillmer Mortuary in Norfolk and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the church. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Monterey with military rites by American Legion Post 70 and VFW Post 4912 of West Point."
