Norma attended the Bowdish Country School and graduated from the Viola High School in 1937. She then attended the Cedar Rapids Business College where she graduated in 1938. She was the daughter of Neal and Retta Armstrong, Larson. Norma attended the Bowdish Country School and graduated from the Viola High School in 1937. She then attended the Cedar Rapids Business College where she graduated in 1938. Norma worked for Linn County as a secretary in the Welfare Office. Norma C. Larson and Ward Knight were married on June 7, 1941. Norma continued to work at the courthouse for several years. The couple later operated a school bus service for the Viola School and later for the Anamosa Community Schools. Ward preceded her in death on December 14, 1972. Norma was employed at Skell Gas in Anamosa from 1967 until 1976. Norma Larson Knight and Dwayne Meredith were married January 31, 1976. Norma was a life long member of the Viola Methodist Church, and Treasurer of the W.S.C.S. for many years. She had also been active in the Anamosa Band Boosters and had been a Republican County Committee Person. She was preceded in death by her Parents, and first husband Ward Knight.
